Registration
To secure your position we are asking for an up-front fee of $95 per head. Rinnai will not accept entries after 30th June 2026.
- Rinnai will accept the first 200 participants who fill out the form below and pay registration fee.
- Please use ‘Business Name’ as reference when paying by direct debit (direct debit details are available in registration email confirmation).

About the event
Dear Participant,
The Rinnai Queensland Team wish to invite you to Rinnai’s Straddie Surf 2026 Fishing Challenge on North Stradbroke Island on the 22nd and 23rd August 2026. You will enjoy a weekend of 4-wheel driving, fishing, camping, fine food and drinks, along with fun and prizes.
To secure your position we are asking for an up-front fee of $95 per head. Rinnai will not accept entries after 30th June 2026.
- Saturday lunch and Saturday night dinner (around the campfire of course)
- Sunday breakfast
- Great prizes for the hard-working angler
- Prizes also for other activities PLUS welcome gift and freebies
There are a number of necessities that each participant will need to provide in order to enjoy this great weekend:
- Alcohol and any drinks you may deem necessary to assist your fishing catch
- Your own tent and sleeping gear etc
- Toilet paper and fresh drinking water
- Fishing gear and bait
- You will need access to a 4WD (Beg, borrow or steal). Please let us know if anyone may have spare seats for those without access to a 4WD so more can enjoy the weekend
Camp Fees
- Participants are responsible for all camp fees

How to get there
- You will need a 4WD vehicle to access the beach on the Northern end of the island via Amity Point or 4WD access road before Adder Rock
- A beach permit is required, which will cost approx. $179.20 per year or $59.80 per month. This is payable online through below button:
- From Dunwich Drive to Town of Flinders (Amity Road) and proceed along Flinders Beach to campsites G-K. Rinnai Main Tent Campsite Area “J”
