Rinnai Commercial Solar hot water systems provide solar pre-heated water to the Rinnai Commercial gas hot water systems such as the Manifold Pack or Demand Duo system.

The system is selected according to the daily hot water demand for the application, the required solar contribution, and what solar zone the system is located in.

For solar pre-heat systems to be eligible for Government RECs rebates, the systems must be a registered system of at least 700 litres of storage with the appropriate quantity of solar panels to support this.

All of the Rinnai commercial systems can have the incoming water preheated by a solar preheat system with only a few limitations:

• HD or MP’s preset below 60°C are unsuitable to be pre-heated by solar
• Due to the potential high water temperatures delivered from a solar hot water system, the outlet of the booster will require the appropriate thermostatic mixing valves (TMV) or tempering valve to ablution areas
